Our staff includes Professional Engineers (PE) registered in the State of Iowa, Professional Land Surveyors (PLS), survey crews, draft persons, construction technicians, certified Water and Wastewater Operators, CAD operators, planning staff, a paralegal, and support persons. Background:

Hart-Frederick Consultants P.C. is a consulting firm performing predominantly civil and environmental engineering, and surveying for municipalities and private developments in east central Iowa. In 1985 Michael Hart began providing consulting services for private, institutional, and municipal clients as Hart Engineering. The following year, Doug Frederick created Frederick Surveying and Engineering providing surveying, subdivision design, and site development. The two firms found they had a successful working relationship; thus, in 1996 the firms merged to become Hart-Frederick Consultants P.C
