The chief
engineering contact for all City projects is Michael W. Hart, P.E. He has over
23 years of experience in civil engineering projects for municipalities and
private clients. He is responsible for overall project development and directly
involved in all design issues. Mike regularly attends council meetings for the
communities we serve. He is available to discuss engineering, planning and
zoning issues. Mike has the assistance of a complete staff from Design Engineers
to AutoCAD Draftsmen who assist with the design and construction administration
for municipal projects.
Mike’s
partner, Douglas Frederick, P.E., P.L.S., coordinates civil, road, street and
highway projects, works with developers and private clients on land development
and oversees surveying and construction staking for all of our projects. Doug is
a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) and a registered Professional Land
Surveyor (P.L.S.). He has over 20 years of civil engineering experience and
served as the Johnson County Engineer from 1989 to 1996. Doug has a complete
surveying team who assist him with projects.
In addition,
to our engineering and land surveying teams, we have Planning and Project
Coordination staff. This team administers paperwork, reviews finances, explores
financing alternatives and researches funding sources. They work closely with
the Project Engineer to convey project status to the community, work through
applicable grant requirements and facilitating all project components until
project completion.
